Step 1: Open the sign-up page
Start from the button above. Binance's sign-up page for our link shows an Email/Phone number field plus Google, Apple and Telegram options, and the code travels in the link rather than in a box you fill in (page seen 29 September 2026) [1].
If you go to Binance yourself, enter your email address or phone number on the homepage and click Sign Up [2], or tap Sign up in the app [3]. Because the code travels with the link, register on the page the link lands you on rather than detouring to the homepage.
Step 2: Choose the account type and enter your details
In the app you tap Create a Binance Account, then pick a registration method: email, phone number, Apple, Google or Telegram. Binance warns that once you register you cannot change the account type; there is a separate Sign up as an entity path for companies [3].
Enter your email or phone number, agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and press Next [2][3].
Step 3: Confirm the 6-digit code and set a password
Binance sends a 6-digit code to your email or phone. Enter it within 30 minutes and press Submit [2][3].
Create a password of at least 8 characters that includes at least one uppercase letter and one number, then press Next [2][3]. Binance recommends turning on at least one form of two-factor authentication [3].
Step 4: Check that the referral code is linked
Binance's website guide describes the referral code being linked (filled in automatically when it applies) as the step after the password, before registration completes [2]. In the app the step is optional and, in Binance's words, once a referral code is linked to your account it cannot be modified [3].
If you signed up without the code, Binance's Referral Pro FAQ (updated 5 August 2026) lets you bind a referral afterwards only if all of these hold: the account is a parent account, it is within 30 days of registration, it has no deposit or trading activity and no existing referral relationship, its KYC information has not been used on another account in the past 180 days, and it is not flagged as a wash trader. That article covers Referral Pro codes, and Binance does not say whether every code format qualifies, so treat sign-up as the moment that counts [5].
Step 5: Verify your identity
Log in and go to Account, then Identification, or use a Verify or Get verified banner; in the app tap Verify Now or Unverified in the Account Center [6]. You select your residence, the country that issued your document and the document type, upload it (by phone scan through a QR code, or manually), and submit both sides of an ID card [6].
Binance then runs a liveness check: do not wear a hat or glasses or use filters, keep the lighting good, and make sure your whole face is visible, centred, with your eyes open. Passport, ID card or driver's license are the options, subject to what is offered for your country. Confirm your personal information carefully, because it cannot be changed after you confirm it [6].
Binance says submitted documents are usually reviewed within 48 hours, though it may take longer in some cases, and it emails you the result. Its guide refers to a Verified level that determines your trading limits [6]. Identity verification is also required to redeem the referral vouchers [4].
Your first deposit, and what counts for the vouchers
Crypto: a deposit is credited once the transaction reaches the number of network confirmations Binance requires for that coin. If the amount is lower than the minimum deposit for the coin, it won't be credited, so check the minimum on the deposit page before you send. A wrong address or missing memo, an unlisted token or an unsupported network can mean lost funds, and deposits pause while a wallet is under maintenance [7].
For the vouchers, Binance's Referral Lite FAQ says Task 1 counts cumulative crypto purchases above $50 made through cash deposit, card or P2P; deposits through third-party payment methods, internal transfers from other Binance accounts and crypto deposits do not count. Task 2 counts cumulative Spot or Convert trades above $100. Both windows are 14 days from registration [4].
Vouchers are distributed within 48 hours of each task, must be redeemed in the Rewards Hub within 7 days, and are valid for 14 days once activated. The rebate on your trading fees is credited to your Spot Account by 23:59:59 the following day. Vouchers do not apply to API trading or trading bots [4].
What you will pay
The table shows Binance's standard rates for regular users as CryptPerks records them. Binance's spot fee schedule lists the regular-user rate for users below 1,000,000 USD of 30-day volume, and a 25% discount if you pay fees in BNB [8]. Vouchers are a rebate of fees you have paid, not a lower fee rate.

Standard-tier (VIP 0) rates from the comparison data CryptPerks keeps for all six exchanges. Your own rate depends on your region, VIP tier and promotions, and referral rebates or vouchers are separate from it. Check the exchange's fee page before you trade.
Country availability
Binance publishes a List of Prohibited Countries at the address in the sources below. Its content did not load in our browser on 30 September 2026, so we cannot quote its entries and list none here [9].
Read that page before you register. The list is Binance's, it can change, and it does not say whether local rules allow you to use the exchange.

No code: check spam and your phone signal, and request a new code; the code is valid for 30 minutes [2][3].
Referral not linked: Binance's after-registration binding needs an account with no deposit or trading activity, within 30 days of registering [5], so act before you fund the account.
Deposit missing: check the amount against the coin minimum, the address, the network and any memo or tag; Binance also lists wallet maintenance as a cause [7].
